A First For Everything...

This is my first blog, so bear with me. Evidently, I'm supposed to shoot from the hip and talk about whatever is on my mind. ?? This scares me, as I have some crazy things that run through my mind. However, it's an exciting time for me. My first book, Plain Perfect, releases on Sept. 9, and I just turned in book #2, Plain Pursuit, to my editor. The name of the series is 'Daughters of the Promise' and there will be a third book in the series, tentatively titled Plain Exchange. All that info. can be found on my Web site - www.bethwiseman.com. I am finding that setting up Web sites, blogs, and the like should probably be handled by someone far more technically advanced than me...but I'm learning. It took me four months to set up my Web site. I could probably do it in about a week now, but there was a huge learning curve. Tech support recognizes my voice. Okay, I'm going to just test this and see if it posts, links to my Web site, etc... But, PLEASE come back. I promise to come up with more creative posts in the future!

Beth, you are cracking me up! I am having a similar issue with characters screaming inside my head. Work has been absolutely crazy, so I keep thinking, OMG, my characters are "hanging in limbo." It's a crazy feeling to think of them as real people, but they do come alive, don't they, even if it's only inside your own head until someone else has the opportunity to read what you've written. I miss you like crazy, and can't wait to catch up! Love you lots!

Carol!!  I miss you too!  I was leaving for Mexico right after you called.  SO sorry I didn't get back with you.  I'm going to email you.  I REALLY wish you'd go to the ACFW conference in Minnesota.  I'll email you more about this.  Love you too!
