Any time you receive a message like this from your editor, it's cause for celebration - "I'm so happy to share this awesome news with you!  Great work, Beth!  What a bright future you have!"  Crossings Book Club has decided to carry PLAIN PERFECT.  My editor says this is a huge win for us since Crossings reaches hundreds of thousands of consumers via direct mailings.  So just wanted to share!

It's unbelievable how many things go on simultaneously.  While the marketing/publicity is kicking into high gear for book #1 in the series, my editor just read book #2 in the series (which I'm thrilled to say that she liked it!) and my revisions will be to me by Aug. 21.  Cover design for book #2 is underway, and my publisher is great about getting my opinion on the cover.  AND, I'm communicating with my editor and already writing book #3 - which will not even hit the shelves until October 2009. 

As a new writer, BALANCE has become a big word in my vocabulary.  Writing book #3, then stopping for revisions on book #2, going back to book #3, and all the while book #1 is finally going to be on the shelves Sept. 9 so there's lots going on with that!  And juggling all that with 'life' can be a challenge sometimes.  But there has never been a more exciting time for me!  What a ride this is...
