Bad Blogger

My sister informed me that I'm "behind" on my blogging.  I know.  But, there's been SO much going on lately!

Plain Perfect
just hit the CBD (Christian Book Distributors) Bestseller list, for starters!  Woo - Hoo!!!

I also attended the ACFW Conference in Minneapolis recently.  In conjunction with the conference, I signed copies of Plain Perfect at the Mall of America with 126 other authors.  Great fun!  HUGE mall!

I'm wrapping up revisions on book #2, Plain Pursuit, and a photo shoot is being scheduled by the publisher for the cover.  Can't wait to see it!

Three book signings have been set up.  Check my Web site for more info. on that at www.bethwiseman.com.

I will be going to Nashville to meet my publishing team at Thomas Nelson on Oct. 28.  VERY excited about that!

AND...Plain Perfect is now a featured title in the Wal Mart circuit.  So far, it's in 500 Wal Marts across the U.S. - hopefully in more by the end of this month!  Another Woo - Hoo!!!  And it's been a blast traveling to various Barnes and Noble and Lifeway Bookstores - seeing the book on the shelves and meeting those special people out there selling it!

So, I thought I'd share some pics from all that's been going on in the past few weeks!

Yours truly with Danny Stone, Manager of Lifeway Books in Katy, Texas - where I'll be signing books on Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
First book signing at Calico Hens in Columbus, Texas.  (From left to right) Writers Carol Voelkel and Mindy Obenhaus, and long-time friends Rene Simpson and Renee' Bissmeyer.  And me!
At the ACFW Conference in Minneapolis with Kim Vogel Sawyer, best-selling, award-winning author who endorsed Plain Perfect.
The three ladies in black - Mindy, Beth, and Carol at the banquet during the ACFW Conference.
  Been a long time coming!

It's even on sale!
Oh so cool to see Plain Perfect on the jumbotron in the rotunda of the Mall of America in Minneapolis!

Until next time!  I'll try not to make it so long!
