Plain Perfect hits CBA Bestseller list

I'm still not doing a very good job keeping up with this blog.  And it surely isn't because I don't have anything to say.  I ALWAYS have something to say...lol.

It's been an exciting couple of weeks.  Plain Perfect remains on the CBD Bestseller list, and last week the book hit #13 on the CBA Bestseller list.  I have some wonderful guestbook posts on my Web site, and I just feel so incredibly blessed that the book is being so well-received.

Book #3, Plain Promise, is taking shape.  I'm writing about ten pages per day.

I wanted to recommend a couple of books I've read lately - The Shack by William P. Young and Grace by Richard Paul Evans.  I really enjoyed both books!  The Shack is getting mixed reviews but holding steady at the top of the NYT Bestseller List for 21 weeks.  Grace, also another NYT Bestseller, was everything I expected from Richard Paul Evans.  Right now I'm reading The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks, who is also enjoying a top spot on the NYT list.  It's hard to go wrong with Nicholas Sparks.

In other news, Amish fiction author Cindy Woodsmall made the NYT Bestseller List!  Wow!  This is Woodsmall's second book to land on the list.  Her debut novel, When the Heart Cries, hit the CBD Bestseller List and the CBA Bestseller List, picking up other awards along the way.  Her second book, When the Morning Comes, hit the NYT Extended List, and her third book in the series, When the Soul Mends, hit #20 on the NYT Bestseller List.  She seems like such a nice person via the correspondence I've had with her via email.  Cindy is an inspiration to those of us who are just starting to write Amish fiction!

Okay...back to working on book #3.  Have a great week everyone!

Peace!  Beth

I just finished Plain Perfect and LOVED it! I am going to recommend it for our ladies book club. We only read Christian fiction, and this one is going to be a great asset. I can't wait for #2 in the series. I would love a signed copy of Plain Perfect. Thank you!
