In the news...

Plain Pursuit has been in the news quite a bit lately as the release date approaches in a few weeks.  I blogged pretty heavily about that at Amish Hearts Blog, so in case anyone is subscribed to both blogs, I won't be repetitive by repeating everything on this blog.  If you haven't checked out the Amish Hearst blog, co-authored with Kathleen Fuller, Barbara Cameron, and Amy Clipston, I invite you to do so.  We cover ALL things Amish - news, book releases, authentic Amish recipes, and other fun facts related to the Amish.

Plain Pursuit, book #2 in the Daughters of the Promise series, can be read as a stand-alone novel,  but the characters in book #1, Plain Perfect, carry over into Plain Pursuit.  So, in case anyone hasn't had an opportunity to read Plain Perfect, I'm going to give away two signed ARCs (advanced readers copies) to two winners on this blog and two winners on the Amish Hearst blog.  Just leave a comment for a chance to win.  Winners will be drawn on Monday, March 30.

I had my first audio interview a couple of weeks ago, and it's now posted at Christian Book Distributors.  I was incredibly nervous.  I'm never going to be as smooth as some of the authors out there, but it was heartfelt and the 'real' me, if you'd like to listen to it.

Have a blessed week!  Beth

I saw the other day that your books are going out on audio. I think that is wonderful....especially for those who just don't have the time to sit and read a wonderful book, now they can listen to it as they are driving. Can't wait for book 2. Hope your trip was wonderful.

Since I had passed my copy of Plain Perfect on to a friend in Pennsylvania and now my daughter in Houston seemed interested in reading it, I stopped in at Calico Hens in Columbus, TX the other day to see if they had any more copies. The lady said they had sold the last one last week, but that you would be at Calico Hens for a book signing of your next book, Plain Pursuit. I told her I already had it ordered online, but she said I could bring it when you come and you would sign it! I'm hoping I can make it to your next book signing in Columbus to get a chance to meet you in person.
