Plain Promise gets a cover!

What do you think about this cover for Plain Promise?  I love it.  Plain Promise is book #3 in the Daughters of the Promise series, scheduled for release in September.  Like the other books in the series, Plain Promise will also feature a reading group guide and authentic Amish recipes.

Sadie Fisher tries to keep herself busy in her Old Order Amish community, even though the death of her husband four years earlier has left her alone and wondering if she will ever find true love again.  However, she's been exchanging letters with an Amish man in Texas.  Milo Troyer plans to come to Lancaster County soon, and Sadie is sure that he will be a perfect match for her.

But two years is a long time to be writing letters, and Sadie begins to wonder if Milo is ever going to make the trip.  As doubt and worry consume her thoughts, Sadie's faith begins to slip in a way that is unfamiliar and unheard of in her community.  For the first time in her life, she questions God's will for her.

When wealthy Englischer Kade Saunders rents her guest cottage for a month, Sadie's world is turned upside down.  If Kade's strange ways aren't enough, he also has a five-year-old autistic son who is dropped off in his father's permanent care following unforeseen events.  Sadie gets to know young Tyler and sees God working through the boy to reach his father.  As her feelings for the child grow, so do her feelings for Kade--a man unsuitable for anything more than friendship.

Will Milo arrive in time to keep Sadie from straying from her beliefs and her community?  Will she marry a man who is 'right for her' when her heart belongs to another?

I am so excited about your third book. I taught several autistic children before I retired, so this subject has a special place in my heart. The parents of these children have a challenge every day and need our prayers.

Wow! Things are really moving along fast! The new cover is great, but this write up on the blog has some > symbols in it, etc. Maybe it's just my computer, but I'm going to try to cop it here for you so you'll see how I received it. This isn't meant for entry on the site, just wanted you to know. Love the cover....but curious about the book.....I thought Grandpa Jonas had a big part in book three. Nothing in the writing talks about Jonas. I hope he is still in it.
