Plain Pursuit hits CBA bestseller list!
|
Book #2 in the Daughters of the Promise series. For reviews, go to: www.amazon.com www.christianbook.com www.barnesandnoble.com |
I'm leaving tomorrow for Houston to spend the night with my mom, then heading to the airport early Thursday
morning. Destination -- Paradise, Pennsylvania! I can feel a sense of calm settling over me just knowing that
I'll be there soon, visiting old friends and making new ones.
Quite drives through the winding roads of Lancaster County, gently easing my way around the buggies. Clapboard houses dotting the landscape, clothes drying on the line, and the plush greenery during this perfect time of year. Shoofly pies, whoopie pies, homemade bread with apple butter, mashed potatoes with cream cheese and browned butter, chow-chow, and all the other yummy offerings!
I'll be blogging every day and sending pics. I'm leaving Sunday morning for a quick trip to New York City, which I'm sure will
be a culture shock after the peacefulness in Lancaster County.
If you're in the area, I'll be signing books in Paradise, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 23, at Beiler's Bed and Breakfast, from 1 to 3 p.m. Looking forward to seeing those of you who have emailed and told me you'll be there!!
Have a fabulous week! Talk to you soon from Amish Dutch Country!

Beth, Oh my goodness are you so very lucky!!! Mine and my husband's daily dream is to move to Lancaster (Paradise area) to soak up the wonderful peace and tranquility on a daily basis. Reading your books puts me in the story like I am actually LIVING there. What a wonderful escape from reality and the daily grind to be able to immerse myself into reading one of your books and I can instantly feel the stress melting away!!
My husband and I come to Lancaster ALOT and I would have loved to have met you at the book signing at Beiler's Bed & Breakfast, but-sadly, I missed it! Hopefully, you will be in the area again, soon! I would love to meet you and get your 'autograph' in either "Plain Perfect" or "Plain Pursuit"!!
Many blessings to you!!
