Plain Perfect Now in Dutch!

Hi Everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since I posted on this blog.  I was finishing up Plain Paradise, book #4 in the Daughters of the Promise series, and just turned it in this past Monday.  Yay!  Always feels good to finish.  That was my fourth full-length novel in the past two years, plus I've finished two novellas.  So, I gave myself the week off.  Enjoyed spending time with my boys over Labor Day weekend.  Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday!

Award-winning author, Lena Nelson Dooley, did a great interview about An Amish Christmas with all the authors - myself, along with Kathy Fuller and Barbara Cameron.  You can check it out at A Christian Writer's World -- Characters Who Grip Your Heart.  An Amish Christmas is already a CBD bestseller, so we're all thrilled about that.  Thanks for pre-ordering and making that happen!

I'll be signing copies of An Amish Christmas at Calico Hens in Columbus, Texas tomorrow (Wed. Sept. 9) from 4 to 6 p.m. if you're in the area.  Email me at author@bethwiseman.net if you need more info. about the event.

And, I was SO surprised when a small box of books arrived on my doorstep a couple of days ago.  I wasn't expecting an order, so I ripped into the box to find copies of Plain Perfect...in Dutch!

Apparently, Plain Perfect is doing quite well in Germany and The Netherlands.

Hmm...maybe a field trip is in order.

Negotiations are underway for more books, so I should have exciting news to share soon!  Have a wonderful week!

Blessings, Beth

Beth, that is really exciting to hear that Plain Perfect is in Dutch and doing well in Germany and the Netherlands. I never thought about its going international! Congratulations!!!
Would love to see you but probably won't make the book signing tomorrow, as I've got errands to do earlier in the day in Columbus. I just checked at Amazon.com today to see when An Amish Christmas, Kathy's A Man of His Word, and your Plain Promise will ship and it says October 5. I pre-ordered all 3 at once for the free shipping, so I guess they are waiting to send them all at once. That's okay, by the time they come, maybe I'll have wound up some of this intense work on family tree and have more time to enjoy them! The Lord works in His own time! Oh, I checked out the interview and it was great! Keep up the good work!
