Plain Pursuit Cover...Decision Made!
Thanks to everyone who voted on whether or not to repackage book #2 in the Daughters of the Promise series - Plain Pursuit. The original cover won the vote by a large margin, so my publisher - Thomas Nelson - has decided not to repackage the book. I love the way Thomas Nelson allows readers to have opinion about my covers. My editor actually came to this site and read all of your comments. So - no changes to the cover!
Thanks everyone! It is 16 degrees at my house this morning - in South/Central Texas! Hasn't been this cold here in 14 years. Burr!!
Stay warm everyone!

And the winner is...the original cover! |

Beth, I'm so glad they agreed to stay with the original cover! There's no sense changing things when you already have a "winner!" That's great that your publisher, Thomas Nelson, is willing to listen to readers' input!
We had 17 degrees this morning on Sandy Creek and the water bowls for the wild animals were frozen, even deeper than yesterday, and the ice I took off yesterday is still lying there in chunks! We brought the three outside cats in 2 days ago to protect them, but the wild critters have to make do with the food we put out. (There are some patches of ice in Sandy Creek, but also sections of flowing water, so they can find water when needed. Putting more out here is pointless, as it will just refreeze.) There were about 8 deer eating on the St. Francis Trail a bit ago, including several bucks. Stay warm!

Beth,
Here in Arkansas we had 5 degrees in Fort Smith this morning and below 0 in Northwest Arkansas. Going to be in the 50's by Tuesday. That will be a heatwave after this last week.

I have read Plain perfect but I can't find plain Pursuit any where. I usually get my books at Walmart. I do enjoy reading about the Amish and also there isn't any bad language in your books. Thanks for that. .......Loreda Miller

I'm glad they kept the original cover. I enjoy reading the first chapter, now I wish I had the rest of the book to finish reading. I can't wait to get the book.
