Plain Paradise - "Official" Back Cover Copy

Hi Friends,

Plain Paradise, book #4 in the Daughters of the Promise series,  goes to print on Friday, and today I received the 'final' back cover copy.  What do you think?

Linda's Amish life seems like paradise.  Until she finds out her family has been lying to her since the day of her birth.

Josie was just a frightened teenager when she left her baby in the care of an Old Order Amish couple in Lancaster County.  Since then, seventeen years have passed and while many things have changed, one thing hasn't.  Josie still longs to reconnect with her daughter Linda.

Linda is unaware of Josie--and is living an idyllic life within the Amish community.  The bishop's grandson, Stephen, is courting her and she hopes that he will propose soon.  But when her birth mother comes to Paradise, Linda finds herself drawn into the
Englisch world.  Meanwhile, her adoptive parents--and her Amish beau--are trying to understand how this interruption in Linda's life could possibly be God's will.

As new relationships begin and old ones are tested, no one's life will ever be the same.  But in the process of losing and letting go--Linda realizes who's daughter she really is.  As only God can do, something more powerful, and far more beautiful, is forged within the Daughters of the Promise community...hope.

Includes Reading Group Guide and Authentic Old Order Amish Recipes.

Dear Beth, This last CHRISTmas I came upon your book at the bookstore and so wanted to buy it for myself. Having so many gifts to buy I put it down. This is the first time I had heard of you, but thought I will just get it another time. CHRISTmas Eve as our family was opening our gifts, I opened "my own copy" our oldest daughter had bought for me as a gift. I was so excited and was able to tell her how the Lord had used her. The fact that I wanted the gift for me and how the Lord was so gracious to let me know He wanted the gift from Him! I have a little store of hand made items along with my blog, so I have been very busy since CHRISTmas selling things and haven't had time to read Plain Perfect. My Dad ended up in the hospital, so it was my treat to myself to start the book. I am having a delightful time and keep finding myself giggling like a child through the whole book. I am half way through and just love your style and wit. I love writing on my blog and I get comments from ladies on how I have encouraged them just when they needed it. That is truly a blessings for me to know that the Lord can us me in that way. I now want "you" to know that the story is giving me a time where I a get way from the trials of life and live in the life of Lillian and Samuel. It is truly delightful. I very much enjoy that your book is a sweet love story not with lots of detail in the romance. I truly appreciate that. I usually don't write, but you have encouraged my heart and I want to encourage yours. I will be looking for you so I can read your other books. Blessings to you and thank you for using your talents for Jesus. It shows.
    Blessings, Linda

I did not know quite what to expect but the story really came alive for me. I brought it to work to read a lunch and at one point my eyes welled up and I had to shut the book.... I was surprised and pleased to see that my book was autographed by Beth Wiseman My wife and I are heaaded back to Fayettville this weekend and I am going to see if that shop has other wiseman books.
