A "Wisemanite" is one who reads the works of Mrs. Beth Wiseman, follows her every move on social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, and who has read so many Amish novels that Dutch German words pop up in everyday conversations, quite by accident. Some examples of these words are: jah, dawdi haus, daed, and Englischer. Devout Wisemanites often name their children Levi, Sarah, Samuel, Lillian, Naaman, and Leah. They usually enjoy baking, quilting, knitting, or reading about people who do such things.

Doesn't everyone know what a Wisemanite is? It is a person who goes out and buys the Beth Wiseman books as soon as they hit the shelves - or pre-orders it so they get it as soon as it is published! That could also include those who sit down to read the book and avoid ALL household chores until they have finished reading it. I know this because I am a Wisemanite!

Ok, being the person who coined the term, I do believe the proper definition for the term Wisemanite is,

Wisemanite: Noun. A loyal and theoretical reader of novels and short stories written by author Beth Wiseman. A person, man and woman, who, with their incessant reading and re-reading of all that is Beth Wiseman, will charge through any l...ine in any given book store to get the latest release of new Wiseman material. A person, who under no circumstances, can nor will not refuse that they are slightly addicted and obsessive over any and all Beth Wiseman material. Origin: From the Greek root word Wisemanitus Bookeritis, meaning Good Book Writer. Also used as an adjective: "That book was so Wisemanite! She's SO trying to copy Beth's style!"

I'm waiting on the rest of the Plain series. I hope i win a copy of your new book. I'm going to guess that a Wisemanite is me. A big fan of yours. I get so into your books that my husband laughs at me. I'm laughing, smiling, or crying out loud while reading. It's hard to put them down once i start. I feel like i'm right there in it. I also like the Amish recipies.
